General
Photographs taken and collected by Paul Reiter during his time with the UNM field school. Includes images showing excavations at Chaco Canyon undertaken by the field school between 1929 and 1941. Most of the images show excavations at Chetro Ketl, but also include Talus Unit 1, BC 50, 51, 52, and 53, Threatening Rock, and Pueblo Bonito. Most of the photographs are attributed to Paul Reiter or John Russell, and Anna O. Shepard; some photographs may have been taken by other field school students. Contains negatives, prints, photocards, and interpositives; the majority of these are copies of originals held by the Museum of New Mexico and acquired by the Chaco Project in the 1980s.
