Biographical / Historical

Dr. Kenneth D. Gardner, Jr. (1929- ) was a nephrologist of Albuquerque, New Mexico and a long-term faculty member of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Born in San Francisco, Gardner graduated from Stanford Medical School and worked at the University of Hawaii before joining the UNM School of Medicine in 1973. He was a faculty member at UNM for twenty-one years. Dr. Gardner was the Assistant Dean in charge of postgraduate medical education while at UNM.
