Scope and Content From the Collection: Virginia Ebinger made these recordings in the early 1990s while researching Spanish folk music, stories and games. She visited Spain, Mexico and England, and also Santa Fe and Santa Cruz, New Mexico, recording a variety of street festivals in her travels. While in Spain Ebinger recorded folk dances and a chorus in Extremadura; Gypsy dances in Granada and Easter Holy Week ceremonies in Torremolinos and Malaga.
