Scope and Contents Approximately 3,000 invoices representing the diverse inventory for which the mercantile company continued to have a market well into the 20th century. Of staples, there are 54 invoices and correspondence items from Peters Branch of International Shoe Co. representing purchases from 1 to several dozen pairs of shoes while the John Becker Co. of Belen New Mexico is represented with 23 invoices for items ranging from some tons of coal to sacks of sugar and potatoes.
