Scope and Contents Debit/Credit columns include names of employees, Gen. Ledger, Herders acct., Provision acct., Huning & Connell, Labor, Bond-Connell Cash (Bond-Connell was another sheep operation in which Connell was a partner), General Expense, Range Expense and Feed account. The journal provides a detailed breakdown of expenses and return for a sheep operation in the final year of WWI. Due to the brevity of U.S. involvement in the conflict, it does not appear that any manpower shortages were suffered
