Scope and Content From the Collection: This is a small collection of newsletters, brochures, articles and news clippings concerning Albuquerque area open space including conservation efforts in the Sandia Mountains and the Rio Grande Bosque. The bulk of material concerns the Bosque del Rio Grande Nature Preserve Society which was founded in 1972 to protect the Albuquerque Rio Grande Bosque as an open space and wild life habitat.
