Scope and Contents File contains 32 cards and letters and notes of phone conversations between Beth and me regarding my novel, On Top of Spoon Mountain, between December 2010 and December 2011. Scope and Contents Here are 23 cards, letters, and notes from phone conversations between Beth and me about On Top of Spoon Mountain. File includes a sample UNM Press contract, and several Spoon Mountain contracts with my corrections on them, plus a final copy of the contract I signed. Also my edits of jacket and catalogue copy. Scope and Contents Maya was Production Manager at UNM Press. I felt Spoon Mountain was designed as a skinny, verticle book, with delicate, lighty-inked type. And asked her to change the book size to the size and design and heavier-inked type of books of mine like Conjugal Bliss or Empanada Brotherhood. I gave her samples of what I wanted from the 8 books included in this file. Also included are my notes, on April 12, 2012, of phone call to Maya. Scope and Contents I suggested 3 circular drawings by Rini Templeton. In this file are also 12 Xeroxes from a couple of books of ravens and crows in flight, plus a quote from last pages of Spoon Mountain describing the ravens' flight. And one of my (very bad) sketches for possible cover. Plus a letter from Maya Allen-Gallegos to me about obtaining permissions to us Rini's artwork.
