Scope and Contents This folder contains an album with 37 color photos of JTN, Doug Terry, and Andy Lenderman on the Rio Grande in the Anal Arsenic Fishing Contests of 1997 and 2000, and grouse hunting with Andy, Luke Nichols, Bill Rusin, JTN, and Susan Crutchfield during the Septembers of 1998 and 1999. Scope and Contents This is an album with 16 color photos of my son Luke climbing Lake Fork Peak by the north cirque route, and also 10 wide color panoramic photos of Luke climbing the peak, at the top, going south on Lake Fork Ridge to Catherine Overlook, Catherine Lake below, then heading down off the ridge in the South Cirque route toward Little Lake Fork Lake. In August 1998. I believe this was only the second time I had climbed Lake Fork Peak.

Scope and Contents This album contains 21 color photos of an attempt by me, my ex-wife Ruby Nichols, and my pals Sam Orr and Andy Lenderman, to climb Wheeler Peak via the Bull of the Woods route on August 15, 1999. The trip was all bad weather and horrendous wind. We summited Mt. Walter and got within 60 yards of Wheeler Peak's top, then fled for our lives. Sam dropped out at the wilderness border because of a sprained toe. I published an essay about our climb in the November Taos Horse...
