Summary: Assortment of letters mostly penned by Archbishop Zumárraga during his tenure in Mexico. They deal with the condition, education, conversion and treatment of the Indians. The Bishop provides many important observations and suggestions to improve their lives. He also discusses the condition of the Spanish settlers and how to improve the society. Folder consists of abstracts in English of letters and decrees during above stated years.
