Scope and Content From the Collection: This collection consists of one scrapbook of newspaper clippings dated June 27, 1916-October 12, 1916. The articles were written by T.E. Hedlund, "war correspondent" for the Boston Globe, covering the 5th and 2nd regiments of the Massachusetts National Guard. The train ride with the troops from Massachusetts to El Paso, Texas is covered in the first few articles.
