Scope and Content From the Collection: The Butor Papers were donated to the University of New Mexico after Butor completed his terms as a visiting professor at the University of New Mexico, 1969-1970 and 1973-1974. It includes student essays written in the classes Butor taught, manuscripts of dissertations about Butor, and miscellaneous journal issues containing essays by Butor or articles on themes of French literature.
