Scope and Contents This diary opens with a list of boys, girls, and "unadjusted" individuals as well as a discussion of 7th and 8th grade history, bibliography, geography, hygiene, and spelling. The majority of notes in this journal place students in high and low categories within each grade. Readings, discussions, and exams are organized together. Discussions are more advanced than for younger grades and center around current events (depression, unemployment), farming, technology, geography, economics, nature...
