Scope and Content From the Collection: Dan Chavez donated these papers to the Center for Southwest Research in 2012, adding a few items in subsequent years. The last in Box 2 were added in 2022. He had always been interested in New Mexico government and politics, and after retirement wanted to study and write about some of the unsung local leaders.
