was a series of regional linguistic atlases begun under the direction of Hans Kurath in 1939. A Rocky Mountain States atlas was planned. Pearce directed the project in New Mexico, 1950-59, but the work was never published. These boxes contain the records of linguistic interviews including biographical information on the informant and some related correspondence.
