Canciones Mexicanas Viejas, Mexico, recorded by Cobos, Early Mexican songs. Poor recording, no Cobos song list available in Box lid. History - Rosales y Robinson, one of first phonographic records - Duet Rosales y Robinson, by Maximiliano Rosales and Rafael Herrera Robinson. This duet initiated recordings on old discs of 78 rpm and made many recordings in Mexico in the early 1900s with Columbia Phonograph Company. They recorded everyday scenes with titles like El Velorio, Eso soy yo, and other pieces. Beside singing, the duet interpreted dialogues of people and situations in which the characters were police, drunks, charros, mother in law, and other characters from Mexico from the 1900s.
