Scope and Contents
The University of New Mexico University Photographs collection consists of various photographs of the University of New Mexico dating from 1990 to 2002, including the remodelling and construction of Zimmerman Library, the Yale Mall Project, Student Union Building (SUB), Hibben Center, Campus Bookstore, University House, dormitories and other buildings. The collection includes aerial view shots of the university, photographs of students, and faculty and staff, student protests, awards and dedication ceremonies, and graduations. The collection also includes various campus scenes such as different architecture on campus, a solar eclipse, art on campus, and guest speakers such as actor Gregory Peck, and a Bill Clinton presidential rally. The collection is arranged alphabetically.

Biographical / Historical
The University of New Mexico University Photographs collection includes documentation of construction and remodelling of several buildings on the university campus, including the Zimmerman Library. The remodelling of the library from this collection took place from 1991-1993, with other building remodelling also photographed and documented in the 1990s.
