Collection contains Chinese American Citizens Alliance Albuquerque Lodge brochures, conference programs, and meeting agendas, minutes, and notes (dates). Material includes documents from C.A.C.A. events and activities such as the Albuquerque Chinese American Film Festival, Autumn Moon golf tournament, Chinese American monument in Albuquerque, and Chinese American museum exhibits in Albuquerque. A photograph of the C.A.C.A. Albuquerque Lodge founding members (1961) and photographs of some C.A.C.A. activities and members are included.

Biographical / Historical
Chinese American Citizens Alliance (CACA) Albuquerque Lodge was founded in 1961. The organization is part of the national CACA which was established in San Francisco in 1895. CACA’s mission is to promote citizenship, community service, and leadership. At the local level, the Albuquerque Lodge offers programs, social activities, leadership programs, and educational scholarships. CACA Albuquerque Lodge teaches young people their cultural heritage and prepares them for their future.
