The G. Stanton Mason Architectural Drawings and Plans Collection consists of fifty one sets of architectural drawings and plans including floor plans, elevations, and sections primarily of public buildings and some residences in New Mexico and Colorado. The collection represents a sample of his work completed under the firm name of G. Stanton Mason Co.

Biographical Information
G. Stanton “Stan” Mason graduated from the University of New Mexico, School of Architecture in 1968 with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Upon graduation, he moved to San Francisco, interning at the firm of Kaplan & McLaughlin. Mason remained in California and completed a graduate degree in architecture at University of California Los Angeles.
In 1971, Mason returned to New Mexico and passed the State architectural exam in 1973. At that time, Mason received NM architectural registration # 721. From 1973-1999, Mason was actively involved in the practice of commercial and residential architecture in New Mexico.
