Scope and Content
This album contains prints depicting various precolumbian sites of Meso-America. Several significant architectural structures, today reconstructed, are shown prior to excavation and reconstruction. Locales included are Acambalam, Chiapas, Chichén-Itzá, Chunkanab, Hochab, Isla de Mujeres, Mitla, Nancuchich, Oaxaca, Palenque, Tantah, Tchpich, Uxmal, Xcakochna, Xkichmol, Xlottsal and Yucatan. Photographers represented are Alfred Percival Maudslay, C. B. Waite and Teobert Maler. Album is 11 1/4 x 14 1/4 in. and prints are 9 x 9 in, or smaller.
