Scope and Content

The collection contains postcards depicting persons, places, and events significant to the Mexican Revolution. Most images were photographed by L. R. Pimentel in the Chihuahua campaigns, ca.1910-1913. An accompanying brief history and descriptive list, as complied by the original collector, is located at the beginning of album one.

The postcards include images of the following people: General Benjamin Argumedo, Col. Cesar E. Canales, General Marcelo Caraveo Frias, D. Maximo Castillo, General Francisco Del Toro, Porfirio Diaz, Alberto Garcia Granados, General C. Garcia Hidalgo, D. Abraham Gonzales, General Victoriano Huerta, Luis lavalle Basso, F. Leon de la Barra, Francisco I. Madero, General Manuel Mondragon, Navarette (Navarrete), Col. G. Rubio, Bernardo Reyes, Rincon Gallardo, General Antonio Rojas, SGeneral Ines Salazar (Zalazar), Pino Suarez, General Augustin Valdez, Jorge Vera Estanol, General Lauro "Remington" Villar and General A. Zubieta.
