Scope and Content
Images in this collection include nineteenth century card mounted albumen prints of railroad and landscape views taken in the area around the Royal Gorge of the Arkansas River. Some photos are of the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad, another of the Manitou and Pike's Peak Railroad. Subjects include: railroad tracks and bridges, Black Canyon, the Royal Gorge of the Arkansas River, and the Hot Springs Hotel. Card mounts are printed: "W.H. Lawrence & Co., Denver Colorado."
