One leather-bound album. Cover printed with title and "William F. Proctor from Alexander R. Shepherd." Album contains 19 albumen prints captioned in English and related to mining in the area of Batopilas, Mexico. Included are: views of that town, the haciendas of San Miguel and Camuchin, various named mines, an ore yard, mine railcars, mill and retorting furnaces, a tunnel, an aqueduct and dam under construction.
