Scope and Content
This collection consists of 264 digital photos of Colfax county (Sugarite, Dedman, Chico Springs, Raton), homesteading, ranching, mining, and family portraits dating from the 1860s-1930s from the John Lillie, James Wilson, and John Langston families. Also included are textual documents ranging from Maxwell Land Grant deeds to letters, ephemera, and family histories.
Also included are photocopies with identifications made by the family and an oral history by Carol Wood.
