Scope and Content
The majority of the photograph album is dedicated to interior and exterior views of the Stedman house at 646 E. Garcia St., Santa Fe (NM), including architectural features, furnishings, and views. There is also a hand-drawn floor plan of the house, possibly a remodel. Christmas cards, calling cards for Mrs. Stedman, clippings, photographs of the Stedmans (primarily Emory), Santa Fe, Ojo Caliente, and nearby locales, as well as Native Americans, cowboys, and children are included in the album.

Biography
Emory Stedman was a vice president for the American Railway Express Company in Chicago. He had his Spanish-Pueblo style adobe home, “La Resolana,” built on a 2 acre lot at 646 E. Garcia Street in Santa Fe, NM. Meem and McCormick were the architects, and the building was erected by Charles Campbell, 1925-1926.
