Biography

Architect John Gaw Meem, best known for a style of architecture known variously as "Santa Fe style," "Spanish-Pueblo style," or "Pueblo Revival." John Gaw Meem was involved with the Historical American Buildings Survey (HABS) in the 1930s and after retiring in 1959 continued to pursue an interest in historic preservation of New Mexico buildings.
