Scope and Content

Portfolio, probably originally bound with twine, containing twelve hand-colored collotype prints of historical, civic, religious, and commercial buildings, and monuments in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Included are: La Fonda Hotel (exterior and interior), St. Francis Cathedral, the old Federal Building (later Post Office, then Museum of American Indian Arts), State Museum (Fine Arts Museum), oldest house in U.S., Palace of the Governors (exterior and interior Ben Hur room), old State Capitol, a garden in bloom, San Miguel church, and the Cross of the Franciscans. Publication directed toward tourist audience, published by Fred Harvey. Print are hand-colored and images are 5 1/2 x 8 in. mounted on sheets measuring 9 1/2 x 12 1/2 in.
