Scope and Content

Snapshots of Louise Holland and Wilbur Coe, their home in Glencoe, N.M., as well as her travels and friends in Thailand, Japan, and India. Includes a photo of a Henriette Wyeth Hurd portrait of Louise Holland Coe painted in 1960. The travel photos were used in Coe's 1984 book, High Roads to Friendship . Prints are 20 x 15 cm. (8 x 10 in.) or smaller.

Biography

Mrs. Coe was Lincoln County Superintendent of Schools, a State Senator--with a special interest in education--between 1925 and 1941, an author, and world traveler.
