Biographical Information

G. Stanton “Stan” Mason graduated from the University of New Mexico, School of Architecture in 1968 with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. Upon graduation, he moved to San Francisco, interning at the firm of Kaplan & McLaughlin. Mason remained in California and completed a graduate degree in architecture at University of California Los Angeles. In 1971, Mason returned to New Mexico and passed the state architectural exam in 1973. At that time, Mason received NM architectural registration # 721. From 1973-1999, Mason was actively involved in the practice of commercial and residential architecture in New Mexico.
