Biographical Information
Anne Hillerman is the daughter of Marie and Tony Hillerman. She continues Tony Hillerman's mystery series, which he created beginning in 1970. She was honored to be the 2015 Rudolfo Anaya lecturer at the University of New Mexico. Previous presenters included John Nichols, N. Scott Momaday, Denise Chavez, Simon Ortiz and Ana Castillo. Prior to becoming a novelist, Anne worked as a non-fiction author and journalist. She lives in Santa Fe, N.M.
