Scope and Content

The collection consists primarily of broadsides and other ephemera advertising music shows, dance classes, and grassroots fundraisers at various Santa Fe area venues. The most popular venues include the Line Camp (Pojoaque), El Nido (Tesuque), Club West (Santa Fe), Mine Shaft Tavern (Madrid). Also represented are Paolo Soleri, Caberet (Inn of the Governors), Casablanca (College of Santa Fe), and the Sweeney Center, all in Santa Fe. Popular musical groups of the day who played at these venues include Lawyers, Guns, and Money; Los Planets; Swingshift; Refrigerators, Workin’ Man’s Band, Lisa Gilkyson, Crowsfeet, Family Lotus, Scorch, Ray Wiley Hubbard, Whiskey River Band, Bobby & the Midnites.
