Scope and Content
This collection consists of interviews with fourteen military veterans from Kewa Pueblo (formerly Santo Domingo Pueblo), New Mexico. Eras of service of the veterans interviewed range from World War II through the First Gulf War. Interviewees discuss their military service and experiences, their lives before and after their service, the significance of language and culture and experiences with post-traumatic stress syndrome, among other topics. The interviews were conducted in 2003 and collected by Chris Chavez, Kewa Pueblo tribal member and Vietnam Veteran who also is interviewed here.

Processing Information
The original collection consists of 27 VHS tapes; 13 of the tapes are duplicates. All 27 tapes were converted to DVD. Master files of the digitized videos are stored on an external drive B3.
