The collection contains correspondence and research material relating to the book, A Sense of Place: Rudolfo A. Anaya, an Annotated Bio-bibliography, by Morgan with César A. González-T. Includes selected short writings of Rudolfo Anaya and press releases for his publications. Articles about Anaya and literary reviews of his work are filed alphabetically by author. Also contains working copies of maps used in the book and the final edited draft.

Biographical Information

Phyllis S. Morgan, librarian, bibliographer, and educator, holds degrees from Ohio State University, Purdue University, and a Masters of Library Science from the University of Arizona. Her major research and writing interest is in the compilation of bibliographies, primarily on subjects related to the American Southwest. Among her works is a bibliography on the writings of Fray Angélico Chávez. She spent years in collaboration with César A. González-T. on the annotated bibliography about Rudolfo Anaya, A Sense of Place (Ethnic Studies Library Publications Unit, University of California, Berkeley, 2000).
