Biographical Information

Everette S. Dellinger was born on June 1, 1886, in Norwood, Missouri. He moved to New Mexico in 1920 and received his B.S. in education from New Mexico Normal University in 1923. He was superintendent of schools in Springer, N.M. from 1925-1933.

In 1927, Dellinger began writing railroad fiction, using E.S. Dellinger as his signature. Several of his stories were published in Railroad Stories. Everette S. Dellinger lived in Albuquerque from the mid 1930's until his death in the early 1960's.
