The Gwatkin papers consist of published lectures and hand-written teaching notes by Professor Henry Melvill Gwatkin, University of Cambridge, between 1899-1904. The musical scores to two hymns are included. The collection was dontated to UNM by Jack Rittenhouse.

Biography/History

Henry Melvill Gwatkin was the Dixie Professor of Ecclesiastical History at the University of Cambridge. His was born in 1844 and died in 1916.
