Scope and Content

This collection consists of a beautiful, hand drawn story booklet of a folk tale in Scotch Gaelic. The story was written by McKenzie, with drawings by Noni Petrovits and calligraphy by Carol Raven. The booklet is accompanied by an English translation of the story and letter to the archivist at UNM. According to the letter, the story was written by McKenzie, a linguist, and was based on a German maerchen, or fairy tale. The booklet is written in calligraphy.
