Scope and Content
This collection contains material for the children's book One Luminaria for Antonio, by Flora Hood, and consists of 24 colored illustrations mounted on poster board, one mock-up of the book, and one typed corrected manuscript of the book. The story revolves around a young boy and his quest to create a luminaria on Christmas Eve. The book was illustrated by Ann Kirn.

Biography
Flora Mae Hood was born July 1, 1898 in Louisville, Kentucky. She taught at various schools in North Carolina and South Carolina, and later for the Bureau of Indian Affairs on reservations in Arizona, New Mexico, and North Carolina. She then became a full time writer publishing a number of children's books.
