Scope and Contents
Black and white photographic reproductions and color slides of Brett's work, many with inscribed titles and dates, some dates from slide processing; many slides are faded or have shifted color to pink or orange. Folder 6 includes a date and title list generated from handwritten labels on the slides.
Folder 7 contains a CD of scans of unidentified and undated paintings and drawings by Brett. Researchers are requested to use these scans, made from nitrate and glass plate negatives which are generally unavailable for research. See Pictorial Archivist for more information. [Nitrate negatives have been removed from accessible collections to freezer storage. Glass plates are housed in restricted access Box 16.]
