Scope and Contents
In English, Spanish, Russian and Hungarian. Folder contains UNESCO posters by artists from Mexico, Peru, United States, Chile and Cuba. The maps are of Christopher Columbus routes and American Indian History. There are also posters published by the Organization of American States, The South and Meso-American Indian Information Center (SAIIC), Smithsonian Institution and other institutions. Also contains the poster for the August 4-27, 1991 exhibit supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities at the University of New Mexico entitled "Maps and the Columbian Encounter; A Quincentennial Exhibition, 1990-1993."
