Assessment tools to help identify photographs by characteristics by examining the support, image color or tone, and deterioration, along with the surface sheen according to the process developed by the Image Permanence Institute (IPI) and published as the Graphics Atlas (graphicsatlas.org)

Process ID Charts (19th C, Photomechanical and Color prints) produced for Gawain Weaver's Care and Identification of Photographs Workshops. 1963 Kodak Master Darkroom Dataguide, which includes data and samples of Kodak printing papers; 1969 Simplified Color Printing chart (AKA Shirley Card).
