Series
Scope and Contents
The set of 49 prints and 4 secondary supports presents nine specific processes on a range of papers to allow for examination of minute variations between the examples. All processes capture the same target image, referencing Dutch 17th century floral still life paintings.
"This photography sample set serves to support the identification of photographic processes held within modern photographic collections...With the exception of the laminated and face-mounted samples, all silver halide papers were printed in the darkroom...In order to illustrate the diversity of characteristics of photographic papers, the sample set include various examples of the most common processes (silver gelatin, chromogenic and inkjet prints.)" (SBMK Project Photography cover sheet, 2021)
