This collection contains a screenplay and illustrations pertaining to D. H. Lawrence’s 1913 novel, Sons and Lovers. The screenplay/shooting final script by Gavin Lambert and T.E.B. Clarke is dated December 8, 1959. It was revised in England between December 1959 and January 1960.
Sheila Robinson’s illustrations include final prints (17), proofs, and color separations and the final print for "Mrs. Morel in the Garden Path" used in Cardavon Press’ 1975 limited edition of Sons and Lovers. The collection was amassed and donated to the Center for Southwest Research by Mark Johnston.
