 Item — Oversize-Folder: 3

Scope and Content

From the Collection: This is an ongoing collection of materials assembled by the University of New Mexico, University Libraries. The collection represents a merger between the Albuquerque History and the New Mexico History collections. New Mexico history is the only unifying theme between the discrete items in this eclectic collection. Subjects include documentation of businesses, politics and government, civic groups, events, and individuals including Roy Stamm and William Smith Burke. Directories, news clippings, publications, historic documents, essays, and ephemera dominate the genres represented in this collection.

An addition to this collection, processed in April 1995 contains a socialist party ballot for Bernalillo County, 1911; a pamphlet about New Mexico sanatorium facilities (post 1947); a program from the Lincoln Day Dinner with Ike, 1960; an estray brand ledger book, 1939-52; a ledger of civil cases, 1915-1919; and Olivia Everitt's notary ledger from Bernalillo County, 1913-1917.

In August 2002, items that were found in a collection of returned theft materials were added to this collection. The original provenance and integrity of these items cannot be guaranteed.
