From the Collection:
The collection contains the following photographs: Governor Miles with his brother-in-law, Mr. Gail Carter; Miles with Miss Opal Miles before an exhibit publicizing the Carrie Tingley Hospital for Crippled Children Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM); Miles as U.S. Representative and Chairman of the House Public Lands Subcommittee addressing a public hearing in Ponape (Micronesia) on a tour of Trust Territory to study Naval Civil Administration; Miles attending the funeral of Governor Tingley with a group, including Govs. Campbell, Hannett, Dillon, Simms, Bolack, Burroughs, and Lt. Gov. Easley. An addition was processed in October 2012. The addition consists of digital files (with corresponding hard copies) of John E. Miles and his family, as well as two political posters.
