Scope and Content Note
From the Collection:
The collection contains two series, Inaugurations and Anniversaries. Inaugurations contains material on the inauguration of various University of New Mexico presidents including James Zimmerman, John Wernette, Thomas Popejoy, Ferrel Heady, Gerald May, Richard Peck, William Gordon, David Schmidly, and Robert Frank. It includes certificates of congratulations, programs, delegate acceptance letters, invitation, speeches, news articles, photographs, videos, etc. The Anniversaries series has correspondence, agendas, minutes, news clippings and photographs for the semi-centennial (1939) and 75th anniversary of the University.
Photographs and videos of some of the events are also stored within the collection.
