Scope and Contents
Mainly requests from New Mexico precinct leaders and committee chairman for voter lists; tax payers lists; usually the copy of chairman Seligman's letter with the original reply; certificates of delegates to Democratic State Convention; lists of judges of election; letters reporting on voting irregularities and the democratic defeat because of illness, weather, etc.; in addition to A. Seligman on all letters the name of Elmer E. Veeder of Las Vegas, Geo Reese of Portales and M.O. Llewellyn of Las Cruces occur most frequently; letters also from Rep. Walton and Senator A. A. Jones.
