The collection includes Terpstra's own photography, along with visual material he collected. Subject locations include Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay, in formats including postcards, posters, slides and negatives.
