From the Collection: The collection contains photographic prints which document the political career and personal life of U. S. Senator from New Mexico, Dennis Chávez. Subject matter includes but is not limited to: Indian affairs, public works, Pan American Highway, politics and politicians including Jeff Bingaman, Clinton P. Anderson and Pete Dominici, defense, foreign relations, constituents' concerns, campaign materials, and political cartoons.
