From the Collection:
Collection contains portraits of Dorothy Pillsbury in old age: holding a cat in a Pueblo Revival style interior, reading to a child in the Ernie Pyle Branch of the Albuquerque Public Library, in front of the bookmobile in Aztec, New Mexico. Other photographs include: the Governor of San Felipe Pueblo with a Lincoln cane (1949); a snapshot of Mrs. Mildred Holtz and another of Gladys Boland (a teacher) and her husband in South Dunbury, Mass.; a woman seated on a tractor surrounded by children; a modern copy photograph of three men dressed as prospectors holding burros loaded with mining supplies; exterior and interior views of Bel Ashley, a 200-year old home in New Hampshire. Prints are 26 x 20.5 cm or smaller and some are color.
