This section includes a large number of bound volumes and packages of ledger-type business records. In most cases, the title and classification applied to these pieces is based on the designation listed on the cover or spine of the bound volumes or the headings at the top of the page in the case of the loose sheets. These may not always be an accurate description of how the forms were actually used by G., K.&Co., and the terms printed on the forms may have changed over a period of years. Most of the business records described here belonged to the head office of G., K.&Co., located at Las Vegas, N.M. In the large number of cases where no office location is designated, the records are probably from the Las Vegas office. Forms coming from the branch offices are generally indicated as such--i.e., Albuquerque, Santa Fe or Roswell.
