Scope and Contents

Anonymous man, no introduction. Begins at 00:13 and ends at 17:53. 1. Story (very poor recording, unknown title, about an elderly couple, the man seeks firewood for the stove, brief silence at 15:17, nearly inaudible); 2. Song (unknown, poor recording, singing in Spanish).

Anoymous woman, no introduction. Begins at 17:59 and ends at 23:12. 1. Story (poor recording, rhyming, verses, sons, widow, no bread to eat, Santa Maria, prayer); 2. Story (poor recording, about a jealous old woman, volume too low).

Anonymous man, no introduction. Begins at 23:34 and ends at 63:18. Story (poor recording, about religion, God disguised as a begger, Virgin Mary disguised, no one will give them food, but La Muerte, Death, comes by and the people all give things to her, she gets served, because fair to all people, equality in death); 2. Story (poor recording, about crooked tortillas, not round, joke, chiste, people heard speaking in background); 3. Chistes, jokes (poor recording, nearly inaudible, one about a burro); 4. Story (poor recording, about a very beautiful child, anonymous woman joins in on telling the story, increase in background noise, last 30 minutes of recording are inaudible).
